Melted packaging wax is used in the packaging industry and applied by coating the product with wax (putting wax on the surface of packaging material), laminating the item with wax (applying wax between two materials), and/or impregnating the motlen wax into the packaging material surface.
Melted wax is needed whether the packaging materials are coated, laminated, or impregnated since it is usually applied with a continuous flow wax. Waxmelters packaging melting tanks are designed to provide you with a steady stream of molten packaging wax which can be sprayed or flushed (saturated) onto the packaging material, packaging wax can be passed through a "Curtain Coating" of packaging wax, the packaging material can be dipped and submerged directly into the melted packaging wax, melted packaging wax can be applied using a metal or rubber roller onto the packaging material.

Ultimately every process requires melting your packaging wax which is generally made of paraffin, a blend of wax with paraffin and some form of microcrytaline especially when adhesivion and flexibiltiy are desired.
