WaxMelters is fortunate enough to be open during these challenging times to serve your business needs. WaxMelters is an essential business that manufactures, warehouses, distributes and ships equipment globally and supplies hospitals, laboratories, medical, soap and sanitary supply companies with equipment (from cancer diagnostics to prosthetic devices to sanitary supplies and now even COVID-19 Testing companies) and we do not take this responsibility lightly.

WaxMelters is operational but is not always able to ship items as quickly as usual because WaxMelters is operating 100% in conformance with the Department of Homeland Security, New York State Government, World Health Organization and Centers For Disease Control & Prevention regulations and guidelines.

It is also not easy to know how long your shipment may be delayed because of Quarantine Orders, results and even awaiting the results of employee COVID-19 Tests, and even the results of our own Workplace Temperature Screenings which can result in employees being sent home. In fact, even normally reliable shipping companies like FEDEX have not arrived for scheduled pickups. Also, WaxMelters has had employees Quarantined during this time period and has had employees out pending COVID-19 testing and possible exposure from outside sources. Lastly, our supply chain for components has also been impacted which results in us not receiving the components we need to finalize and ship your order. Even missing a single customized bolt, pipe or wheel can delay a shipment.

This is a challenge for all of us and every business at this time. We know you rely on us to keep your business moving forward and our dedicated Customer Support & Production Teams will remain committed to assisting you with your production equipment needs. Occasionally, as a result of staggered work shifts, teleworking staff and some of these daily challenges, there may be communication errors regarding the status of your order. We apologize if we fail to communicate any delays. We continue to safely supply equipment on a daily basis with our main priority being to protect the health of our employees and their families, along with protecting the health of our customers and the general public. After all, we are all in this together.

The WaxMelters Team Policy Updates Which Will Delay Your Shipments

In order to protect the health of our employees and our customers in limiting the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, WaxMelters has instituted the following policies:
  • There will be Temperature Screenings outside the Entry door for all Warehouse Employees.

  • Our Production Facilities & Warehouse/Showroom location will be closed to the public until further notice.

  • Our Sales & Customer Support Teams will for the most part be teleworking to remain dedicated to supporting your needs.

  • Our Warehouse & Shipping Teams will implement the following changes:

    • All employees work shifts will be staggered so that there will never be more than FIVE team members at any location at ONE time.

    • All Team members must wear masks and gloves during shifts, as well as wash their hands throughout the day including during any and all breaks.

    • All Units will be "wiped down" with Isopropyl Alcohol and/or Disinfectant, especially Controllers prior to packaging and shipping.

    • All incoming components and units sent in for repair will also be disinfected upon arrival.

    • All Employees will remain at least SIX feet away from each other.
