Soap stick melting tanks, soap stick melters and soap stick making equipment are used to make soap sticks for the gas, oil and petroleum industries. In general, soap sticks increase the flow rates of the well by lowering the hydrostatic head on the formation which results in foaming the water in the tubing for gas and oil wells. This foaming of the water, combined with the increased flow rate, allows the well to unload the fluid, achieving a higher rate of production. The foaming action will often clean the well bore of deposits, which build up. When condensation in a well is 75%-80%, a specialized soap stick called an oil foam stick is used.
Drill sticks, Acid and SAPP sticks, as well as other variations of Soap Sticks, are designed essentially to promote better oil and gas well production by either promoting better and deeper drilling, elongating drill bit life, removing deposits and increasing the flow rate.
