Description Technical Specs

Industrial Beehive Tray Dipping System

High-temperature thermal dipping system designed for beekeeping hive box and tray wax treatment applications. Engineered for consistent operation at 270°F–320°F using controlled electric heating.

Designed to replace propane-based systems with faster, safer, and more controlled thermal processing.

Designed for Full Hive Immersion

Beekeeping hive dipping requires submerging hive boxes for 10–15 minutes to properly treat and protect wood surfaces. This system is built to accommodate multiple hive boxes simultaneously while maintaining consistent temperature and wax condition.

  • Submerges multiple hive boxes per cycle
  • Maintains stable temperatures throughout dipping process
  • Supports paraffin and microcrystalline wax blends
  • Reduces treatment variability and rework
System Configurations

Standard Dipping System
Custom-built tank designed to match your tray size and batch requirements.

Spillway Dipping System (Most Popular)
Overflow spillways return excess wax back into the tank, enabling continuous operation and simplified material handling.

Reservoir Dipping System
Internal lip captures foam, debris, and contaminants, allowing separation and controlled reprocessing. Reservoir configurations are ideal for operations requiring cleaner wax and improved process control.

Typical Customer Requirements
  • Submerging 2–3 hive boxes at a time
  • Stacking configurations for increased capacity
  • Operating temperatures of 300°F–320°F
  • 10–15 minute immersion cycles
  • Bottom drain for cleaning
  • Submersion lids for full immersion
  • Fast heat-up for production efficiency
