Candle Production Equipment
Melting, Heated Transfer & Filling Systems for Candle Manufacturers
Build the right production workflow around your wax, batch size, containers, fragrance changes and daily output. Start with the part of production you need to improve—then review the appropriate WaxMelters systems without searching through the entire industrial catalog.
Choose the production step—not a model number. Each page explains the sizing and selection logic before the equipment appears.

Melt & Hold Wax
Choose a PRIMO melter by your largest batch, daily demand and expected growth. A simple starting rule is to select working capacity at least one-third larger than your current largest batch.
The Right Equipment Depends on What Is Slowing Production
Increasing machine speed alone does not solve shortages in melted wax, container staging, wicking, cooling, topping off or packaging. Size the complete workflow.
Still Melting in Small Pots?
Start with a PRIMO melter. More available molten wax and fewer refills often produce the first major improvement.

Pitchers Are the Bottleneck?
Move to a heated filling system that connects to your melter. Choose semi-automatic for flexibility or automated filling for repeatable measured cycles.

Building a Production Line?
Evaluate melter capacity, filling heads, container staging, cooling, finishing and packaging as one flow. WaxMelters can supply the heated thermal and filling core and coordinate integration requirements.

Why WaxMelters
Performance as described in our warranty terms; construction backed by our 1-Year Limited Equipment Warranty and 3-Year Fabricated Stainless-Steel Vessel Warranty (warranty terms).
WaxMelters is the industry leader and a US manufacturer of melting, heating and filling equipment for every business size, from startup to factory, and every industry.
Best performance: the best and fastest melting and heating. Waterless PRIMO heating melts 2–3X faster using half the electricity.
Safe, even heating: permanent heaters, digital material-temperature control and insulated 304 stainless vessels, with no open flame.
The most energy efficient: fast melting on half the electricity.
Saves you time, energy and money.
Highest-quality construction: 304 stainless, made in the USA in Ronkonkoma, NY, and online since 1999. Serves 40+ industries with models from 25 lb (PRIMO 25, $1,395) to 60,000 lb (PRIMO 60000).
Short answer: Commercial candle making equipment comes down to three jobs: melting and holding wax at a steady temperature, moving it without pitchers, and filling containers consistently. WaxMelters (Ronkonkoma, NY, serving manufacturers since 1999) builds all three in the USA: PRIMO waterless wax melters from 25 lb ($1,395) to plant-scale tanks, heated fillers from a hand-guided dispenser ($3,450) to an 8-head automated filler ($52,995), complete melt-and-fill systems from $6,295, and a fragrance/color Mix Injection System. Wick placement, cooling and labeling are separate stations you add from other suppliers.
PRIMO melters are waterless, 304 stainless, digitally controlled tanks for paraffin, soy, coconut, beeswax and blends. PRIMO melters generally melt a full load in about 45 minutes to an hour, and PRIMO melts 2–3X faster using half the electricity. For facilities that require indirect liquid-jacket heating, WaxMelters also builds the PW water-jacketed series. Models up to the PRIMO 150 run at 800 W or less on standard 110–120 V. See the melter guide and the candle sizing guide.
2. Moving wax without pitchers
The EZ-T heated transfer system ($2,995) moves molten wax from tank to tank or tank to process at up to 1, 3, 5 or 10 gallons per minute through a heated pump, hose and valve. Compatible EZ-1, AutoShot and Pour X-Press systems can add a quick-connect heated transfer connection.

WaxMelters focuses on melting, heated transfer, mixing and filling. It does not sell wick-centering or wick-inserting machines, cooling tunnels, conveyors or labelers. QUATTRO and OCTO accept an optional photoelectric sensor ($2,995) so they can work with your conveyor. See planning a candle production line.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose WaxMelters?
WaxMelters guarantees the best performance and the highest-quality construction. Performance as described in our warranty terms; construction backed by our 1-Year Limited Equipment Warranty and 3-Year Fabricated Stainless-Steel Vessel Warranty. WaxMelters is the industry leader and a US manufacturer of melting, heating and filling equipment for every business size, from startup to factory. Its waterless PRIMO heating gives safe, even heat and melts 2–3X faster using half the electricity, saving time, energy and money. All equipment is built in the USA, from 25 lb to 60,000 lb.
What equipment do I need to start a candle business?
At minimum: a temperature-controlled wax melter sized to your largest batch, a way to fill containers (pitcher, heated dispenser or automated filler), wick-setting tools, and a curing area. WaxMelters' smallest commercial melter is the PRIMO 25 (25 lb, $1,395, 300 W, 110–120 V).
What is the best candle making machine for a small business?
For most growing candle businesses, WaxMelters recommends starting with a PRIMO melter and adding the EZ-1 semi-automatic heated dispenser ($3,450), or buying both together as the Pour X-Press 1000 ($6,295 with a PRIMO 150).
How do I go from hand pouring to automated candle filling?
Move from pitchers to a heated dispenser (EZ-1), then to an automated single head (AutoShot or AutoValve), then to multi-head filling (QUATTRO with 4 heads or OCTO with 8). Each step reuses the PRIMO melter. See the scale-up guide.
Is WaxMelters candle equipment made in the USA?
Yes. WaxMelters designs and manufactures its equipment in Ronkonkoma, New York, and ships worldwide.
Does WaxMelters sell wick centering machines or cooling conveyors?
No. WaxMelters supplies melting, heated transfer, mixing and filling equipment. QUATTRO and OCTO can add a photoelectric sensor ($2,995) to work with a conveyor you source separately.
Can I run several fragrances a day without cleaning the melter?
Yes, with the Mix Injection System (from $24,995). It injects fragrance or color after the melter, at the point of fill, so the main tank stays clean between scents.
How do I get a recommendation for my production?
Call (888) 929-6358 or 631-938-1306, or use the production review request. WaxMelters reviews wax type, batch size, containers and daily output.
WaxMelters systems maintain heat through the tank, pump, hose and dispensing point. This helps prevent the filling equipment from becoming a cold restriction after the wax has already been melted.
Do not choose by theoretical containers per hour alone.
Actual daily output also depends on wick preparation, table or conveyor space, container loading, cooling, second pours, labeling and packaging. We size the equipment around the real production sequence.

Should I buy a melter or a complete melting and filling system?
Choose a melter alone when you still fill by gravity, pitchers or existing equipment. Choose a complete system when you need a new melter and want the heated filling equipment configured on one mobile platform.
Can a WaxMelters filling system connect to my existing tank?
Many single-head, multi-head and transfer systems connect to an existing melting-tank valve. Valve size, material viscosity, temperature, elevation and available power should be reviewed before purchase.
Which waxes can the systems handle?
WaxMelters systems are used with paraffin, soy, coconut, beeswax, palm, blends and other waxes. The correct pump, temperature range and filling method depend on the material’s viscosity and processing temperature.
Can the system grow with our production?
Yes. PRIMO melters can operate at partial capacity, and many filling and transfer systems can be connected to larger tanks or incorporated into expanded production layouts later.
