Choose by process

Which type of system do you need?

Most tanks in this family differ primarily by internal dimensions, material depth, and selected features. Circulating systems add process equipment such as pumps, piping, filtration, spillways, or reservoirs.

Circulating Dip & Coating Systems

For applications that require controlled material movement, temperature uniformity, filtration, overflow management, or transfer.

  • Pump and circulation-loop design
  • Filtration or clarification options
  • Spillway, reservoir, or return sections
  • Single or multiple heated chambers

One technology, many configurations

Built around the part and the process

A shallow tray, deep immersion tank, slab tank, cheese-wax tank, or hive-dipping tank is not necessarily a different heating technology. The system is configured around the required usable space, material, temperature, handling method, and production rate.

This is why WaxMelters reviews the application before providing final pricing instead of forcing a customer into a misleading off-the-shelf size.

Engineered thermal performance

Tank Geometry and Heating Engineered Together

A tank cannot be judged by shape, wattage, or heater size alone. Vessel geometry, heating, temperature sensing, controls, and insulation must operate together as one complete thermal system.

Controlled Even Heating

Rectangular tanks are often required to accommodate trays, slabs, blocks, hive bodies, parts, molds, and other products with defined dimensions.

PRIMO heating is strategically engineered for the geometry of each vessel, including the corner transitions. Those areas function as active parts of the thermal system rather than being left as slow-melting, residue-holding, or overheated pockets.

Customers receive the processing benefit without disclosure of the proprietary arrangement, dimensions, or number of heating components.

Designed from Real-World Field Experience

WaxMelters has inspected and repaired melting equipment manufactured by other companies. We have seen how thermal layout, control location, vessel geometry, and component selection can contribute to slow melting, uneven temperatures, retained material, difficult cleaning, and premature equipment failure.

We do not merely know how melting equipment is built. We know how it fails and we engineer PRIMO systems to avoid those failures.

More consistent heating throughout the tank
Faster and more complete melting
Reduced localized overheating
Less material retained in corners
Easier cleaning and product changeovers
More dependable batch-to-batch processing

PRIMO system advantages

Waterless thermal processing, configured for you

PRIMO combines material-temperature control, insulated stainless-steel construction, and process-specific options without routine jacket-water management. Water-jacketed construction remains available when a specification or hazardous-location design requires it.

Material-temperature control

Digital sensing and controls are configured around the material and required operating range.

Industrial construction

Insulated, double-walled construction with 304 stainless-steel interiors for production use.

Application-specific options

Chambers, controls, stands, screens, valves, reservoirs, pumps, filtration, and custom fittings as required.

Common questions

Before submitting your tank request

Do I need to know the finished outside dimensions?

No. Enter the required usable internal length, width, and working depth. Mention a maximum exterior footprint only when the system must fit a fixed space or existing production line.

Can multiple chambers have separate temperature controls?

Yes. Identify the number and internal dimensions of the chambers and whether each chamber requires independent temperature control.

What if I do not know whether circulation is required?

Select “Unsure” and describe the goal. Circulation may be appropriate for temperature uniformity, filtration, overflow return, clarification, or moving material between sections.

How is a dipping screen or basket sized?

Provide the dimensions and approximate weight of the largest item, block, part, hive body, tray, or product being dipped. WaxMelters can determine the appropriate screen or basket clearance and construction.

Can the tank be designed for washdown?

Yes. Indicate the washdown method, cleaning chemicals, and whether the controls or surrounding equipment require water-resistant construction.

Can I purchase online after the quote is approved?

The first step is application review and firm pricing. After the configuration is approved, WaxMelters can provide the appropriate order and payment process for the quoted equipment.

PRIMO Waterless Heating vs. Water-Jacketed Construction

Both are industrial heating methods, but they solve different requirements. WaxMelters recommends the construction that fits the material, installation, temperature, controls, and applicable safety classification.

PRIMO Waterless Systems

  • Heating is engineered around the vessel geometry and material
  • No jacket water level to maintain
  • No mineral scale from jacket water
  • Insulated construction and digital material-temperature control
  • Preferred for most standard non-hazardous applications

Water-Jacketed Systems

  • Heat transfers through an intermediate water or thermal-fluid jacket
  • Jacket condition and fluid level require management
  • Useful when a specification or process specifically requires this construction
  • Available for appropriate hazardous-location or legacy requirements
  • Application review is required before selection

Performance depends on tank size, material, starting temperature, batch load, operating setpoint, electrical service, and process conditions. Publish quantified speed or energy claims only when supported by documented testing for the compared configurations.
