To choose the right PRIMO Melter, estimate:
- How many pounds or gallons you need to melt per batch
- How many batches you run per day
- Your material type and melt temperature
- Whether the melter will feed a filling system, pump, hose, or production line
- Whether you expect production to increase over the next 6–24 months
Simple sizing rule:
Choose a system larger than your current batch size so you have room for expansion and avoid constant refilling.
Example: If you regularly process 75–100 lb batches, consider a PRIMO 150, 250, or larger depending on your growth plans.
