A Commitment to Innovation in Thermal Processing
WaxMelters began by solving the practical production problems candle manufacturers faced every day. Since 1999, that work has grown into a USA-built family of PRIMO waterless melting, heating, thermal conditioning, transfer, dispensing, filling and custom process systems used across more than 40 industries.
Our approach: find what is slowing the process, engineer the equipment around the complete material path, and keep improving the system as manufacturers grow.

How the Platform Developed
From a Better Way to Melt Wax to Complete Production Systems
The company did not begin with a catalog of unrelated machines. Each equipment family grew from a production problem: slow melting, employees waiting for material, carrying hot wax by hand, inconsistent filling, difficult transfers, limited floor space, or a process that could not expand with demand.
1999
WaxMelters Goes Online
WaxMelters began supplying professional wax melting and production equipment online, working directly with candle makers and manufacturers as their processes moved beyond pots, pitchers and manual pouring.
2006
PRIMO Waterless Technology Is Developed
Development began on a different thermal architecture—one that would eliminate the heated-water reservoir and make the heating system a permanent, long-life part of the equipment.
2007
PRIMO Is Perfected and Released
After refinement, PRIMO waterless melting technology was released for production use. It created the foundation for a compact, stainless-steel equipment platform that could be configured for different capacities, materials and operating requirements.
NEXT
The Entire Material Path Evolves
Melting led to heated dispensing and transfer; dispensing led to measured AutoShot filling and multi-head systems; those capabilities came together in Pour X-Press melt-and-fill platforms. New production needs then drove Thermal Conditioning, Rapid-Cycle, mixing, dipping, coating, separation, recovery and custom integrated systems.
TODAY
One Thermal-Processing Platform, More Than 40 Industries
The expertise first developed around wax now supports adhesives, coatings, resins, polymers, oils, cosmetics, food ingredients, soap, pharmaceuticals, phase-change materials, investment casting, aerospace manufacturing and other temperature-sensitive or high-viscosity processes.

The Foundational Innovation
PRIMO Waterless Thermal Architecture
PRIMO was developed around a direct controlled-vessel heating path with no jacket-water reservoir.
Simpler Thermal Path
No Separate Heated-Water Reservoir
No jacket water to fill, heat, monitor, treat or replenish—and no jacket-water scale or evaporation to manage.
Long-Life Design
Permanent Heating System
The PRIMO heating system is designed as a long-life part of the equipment.
Facility Efficiency
More Process, Less Infrastructure
Eliminating the separate jacket changes the relationship among usable capacity, outside footprint, connected power and the infrastructure allocated to the process.
Innovation Must Be Measured in Completed Production
WaxMelters reviews your material, working volume, starting and target temperatures, process-ready time, measured energy, recovery, labor, cleaning, usable capacity and downstream output.

Performance and energy use vary by model, material, batch, temperature and operating conditions. Review equivalent production requirements.
Innovation Across the Production Line
Equipment Developed Around Each Next Constraint
A faster melter does not improve production if material still has to be carried in pitchers or if filling becomes the next bottleneck. WaxMelters continued beyond the tank to develop equipment for the complete heated-material workflow.

Beyond Standard Equipment
When the Process Is Different, the Equipment Should Be Too
Some production problems cannot be solved by choosing another gallon size. Part dimensions, immersion depth, chamber arrangement, circulation, filtration, sanitation, material recovery, mixing behavior, discharge method and integration with existing machinery can all change the correct design.
Dip, Coating & Slab Systems
Standard, shallow, deep, flat-tray, slab, single-chamber, multi-chamber and circulating tanks configured around the part and process.

How We Continue to Innovate
Start With the Production Problem, Not a Model Number
WaxMelters develops and specifies equipment by working from the process outward. That discipline prevents a customer from buying a larger tank when the real problem is recovery, transfer, filling, cleaning, floor space or future expansion.
Step 1
Find the Constraint
Observe waiting, manual handling, slow filling, cleanup, footprint and growth limitations.
Step 2
Define the Requirement
Material, batch, throughput, thermal duty, downstream demand, facility and growth.
Step 3
Engineer the System
Match vessel, heat, mixing, transfer, filling, controls and layout to the complete workflow.
Step 4
Build, Test & Support
Manufacture and test in the USA, document the configuration and support it over time.
