Where You Can Make Money
Take the Fun Wherever the Crowds Are

Carnivals and County Fairs
Big crowds for days. Most fairs ask for a vendor application, booth fee and liability insurance.

Renaissance Festivals
A classic: Scarborough, Arizona and New York Renaissance festivals all list wax hands shops.

Festivals and Street Fairs
Seasonal festivals, holiday markets and fundraisers. Quick setup makes the most of a paid booth.

Private Parties
Sold as a staffed hourly package: graduations, showers, reunions, block parties and holiday parties.

Birthday Parties
Kids love making their own rainbow hand. Book it as an hourly party package with a take home keepsake for every guest.

Sweet 16s and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs
A party favor guests make themselves. Popular at sweet 16s, quinceañeras and Bar and Bat Mitzvah receptions.

Corporate Events
Company picnics, team building, trade shows and brand activations, usually a flat package.

Weddings and Anniversaries
A one of a kind keepsake: the couple makes a holding hands sculpture in their wedding colors. A memorable reception or anniversary activity.

Date Nights
A keepsake couples make together, in their colors. Great for date night venues, paint and sip studios and Valentine events.

Schools and After Proms
School carnivals, fun fairs, grad nights and college events book year after year.

PRIMO Waterless: Stop Paying for the Water Jacket.
Less space. Less bulk. No heated-water jacket. More room for your business. PRIMO eliminates the heated-water jacket so the machine can devote more of its physical envelope to the wax-hand process, portability or useful storage.
Floor Space Has Economic Value
Every square foot occupied by equipment is space unavailable for customer flow, cooling, finishing, checkout, packaging, storage or another productive use.
Setup Time Has Economic Value
PRIMO eliminates the heated-water jacket itself, no heating-water jacket to fill, drain or bring into operating condition before it can perform its heating function.
Heating the Jacket Is Still Heating
PRIMO conditions wax without maintaining a surrounding heated-water bath. Model-specific electrical ratings are published on each product page.
Less Equipment to Work Around
Space-efficient architecture makes compact tabletop systems possible, lets X-Press collapse for travel and allows the 305 to turn lower cabinet volume into useful operator storage.
A Compact 20 × 20 in. Floor Footprint*
The PRIMO Wax Hands 4 Compact uses a 20 × 20 in. equipment footprint. *Overall equipment dimensions; allow for required operating clearances.
PRIMO Waterless Heating Architecture
Individual removable stainless-steel wax chambers, with no heated-water jacket around them. PRIMO eliminates the heated-water jacket while retaining individual removable stainless-steel wax chambers. That enables compact equipment packaging and an efficient workstation design.
Built Around the Wax-Hand Business
Waterless Heating Architecture
No heated-water jacket around the wax chambers. PRIMO is engineered around controlled wax conditioning.
Removable Wax Chambers
Individual stainless-steel wax chambers, also called sleeves, vats or compartments elsewhere in the industry, simplify color management, cleaning and service.
EZ-Clean Topper Standard
The removable stainless topper helps direct drips toward the intended chamber, keeps wax out of the spaces around removable chambers, helps contain residual wax during movement and creates a clean finished work surface.
No Proprietary Wax Required
PRIMO does not require WaxMelters-branded wax. Use appropriate commercially available low-melt wax-hand paraffin and source it locally whenever practical.
Integrated Cooling Available
Add a Professional Integrated Cooling Station: a built-in insulated ice-water chamber that replaces the separate plastic cooler commonly used during the cooling stage.
Commercial Attraction Engineering
Choose ultra-compact tabletop systems, the X-Press EZCOMPACT travel platform, the 305 storage workstation or a custom large tabletop system built around an attraction, counter or kiosk.
Which PRIMO Wax Hands System Fits Your Operation?
Choose the equipment platform first. Then choose the chamber layout, integrated cooling and other application options.
PRIMO Wax Hands 1 Compact

View Wax Hands 1 Compact →PRIMO Wax Hands 4 Compact
Four removable 8 × 8 × 11 in. wax chambers, approximately 100 lb capacity, in a 20 × 20 × 13 in. tabletop format.

Request a Wax Hands Recommendation →A Full Commercial Wax-Hand System That Collapses for Vehicle Transport
The X-Press operates at approximately 30 inches high, then compacts to approximately 17 inches high for transportation, making it substantially easier to load into SUVs, vans and other event vehicles.
- Operate Approx. 30 in. working height
- Compact Approx. 17 in. transport height
- Load & Go Designed around a mobile event business
High-Capacity Wax Conditioning + Integrated Operator Storage
The compact PRIMO design leaves room for a storage cabinet below, so the 305 uses lower cabinet volume as useful enclosed storage for colors, finishing materials, packaging and event supplies.
- Store Dedicated enclosed operator storage beneath the wax-hand system.
- Operate High-capacity commercial workstation with organized access to supplies.
- Close Clean finished appearance when supplies are stored.
Replace the Plastic Cooler with an Integrated Cooling Station
Wax-hand production includes a cooling stage. Instead of carrying a separate plastic cooler, selected PRIMO systems can be ordered with a built-in insulated ice-water cooling chamber integrated directly into the workstation.
Standard Event Setup
Wax-hand machine plus a separate cooler or cooling container that must be transported, positioned and maintained as another piece of event equipment.
PRIMO Professional Integrated Cooling Station
A dedicated insulated ice-water cooling chamber becomes part of the equipment configuration for a cleaner, more organized commercial presentation.
Recommended upgrade price: +$695.
No Proprietary Wax Required
Source it locally. Buy it when you need it. Your operation is not dependent on us for routine wax purchases.
PRIMO Wax Hands systems do not require WaxMelters-branded or proprietary wax. WaxMelters recommends an appropriate low-melt-point paraffin used for wax-hand production, such as IGI 4616, IGI 1230A or a comparable wax selected for the application.
Because wax is heavy and expensive to ship, we generally recommend sourcing compatible wax and colors/dyes locally whenever practical.
Use wax appropriate for the wax-hand process and follow the current equipment manual and wax supplier specifications. Ordinary candle wax is not automatically interchangeable with wax-hand wax.
Small Material Cost. High-Value Personalized Experience.
Wax-hand economics vary by hand size, wax cost, venue, labor, commission, payment fees and selling price. WaxMelters' historical material-cost estimates are approximately $0.50 for many adult hands, about $0.25 to $0.35 for older children/teens and about $0.10 to $0.15 for very small children. Use your actual costs.

Major attractions continue to sell wax-hand experiences. Use current public venue pricing only as a market reference, not as a promise of what your own market will support.
Your price is created by the total experience: venue, presentation, colors, finishing, packaging and guest interaction.

What does "waterless" mean on a PRIMO Wax Hands machine?
It refers to the heating architecture. PRIMO does not require a heated-water jacket around the wax chambers. Water or ice may still be used during the separate cooling stage of the wax-hand process.
Do I have to buy wax from WaxMelters?
No. PRIMO does not require proprietary WaxMelters wax. Use an appropriate low-melt wax-hand paraffin from a supplier of your choice and follow the wax supplier and current equipment instructions.
What is the EZ-Clean Topper?
It is the removable stainless-steel finished top used on PRIMO multi-chamber systems. It helps keep drips directed toward the intended chamber, keeps wax out of the spaces around removable chambers, helps contain residual wax during movement and creates a cleaner finished operating surface.
Which machine is best if I travel to events?
The X-Press is the purpose-built travel platform. It operates at approximately 30 inches high and compacts to approximately 17 inches high for vehicle transport.
Which machine is best for a major attraction or custom kiosk?
Many permanent attractions prefer a large custom tabletop system integrated into an existing counter, kiosk or attraction build. The 305 Commercial Workstation is the self-contained floor-standing choice when integrated operator storage is preferred.
Can I get more colors?
Yes. TableTop and X-Press systems can be configured for additional individual color chambers, and the 305 can be configured as a 7-chamber system. Eight or more chambers and special layouts are handled through Custom PRIMO Wax Hands Systems.
