What the Equipment Must Do

Select the tank and downstream equipment around the material, operating temperature, working volume, hold time and production cadence, not the industry name alone.

Hold Duration

Define how long material remains at temperature before or during production.

Viscosity Stability

Maintain consistent material behavior through the hold and transfer period.

Thermal Sensitivity

Select controlled heat input around discoloration, separation, scorching or degradation risk.

Downstream Draw

Size working volume around the rate at which filling, transfer or production consumes material.

Which PRIMO System Fits This Process?

Recommended starting point: PRIMO Thermal Conditioning. PRIMO Thermal Conditioning is the primary PRIMO family for thermal conditioning and extended heated holding. Standard PRIMO remains appropriate where the material primarily needs melting and ordinary production holding. Rapid-Cycle is not the default here; it should be selected only when repeated loading and recovery speed are more important than the stability-focused conditioning objective.
