Custom PRIMO Tank Family
Standard dip tanks, shallow flat trays, deep immersion tanks, slab melters, and multi-chamber systems are built from the same core PRIMO technology. The configuration is determined by the usable internal dimensions, working depth, material, temperature, part geometry, and handling method.
Submit the dimensions and process requirements below. WaxMelters will review the application and provide the correct configuration and firm pricing.
Select by geometry
Choose the description closest to your process. Exact dimensions and required features are entered in the same specification form.
General-purpose rectangular tanks for deeper immersion, coating, treatment, and heated processing.
Wider, lower-profile tanks for trays, broad components, cheese coating, and horizontal workflows.
Built around the length, width, thickness, and loading method of slabs, bricks, blocks, or solid material.
Engineered for rectangular geometry
A rectangular tank cannot be evaluated by wattage, heater size, or vessel dimensions alone. Its geometry, heating system, temperature sensing, controls, and insulation must be engineered to operate together.
PRIMO tanks are engineered as complete thermal systems. The heating design is matched to each vessel so it heats evenly throughout, with no slow-melting, residue-holding, or product-damaging hot spots.
Rectangular vessels naturally create corner transitions where material may collect and thermal performance can become inconsistent when the system is not properly engineered.
PRIMO engineers the heating for each vessel so it heats evenly throughout, including the corners.
The objective is not simply to make the tank wall hot. The system must control the temperature of the material being processed.
Heating, sensing, insulation, and digital controls are configured together to support consistent melting, dipping, coating, conditioning, and holding throughout the usable tank area.
Configuration guide
| Requirement | Why it matters | What to provide |
|---|---|---|
| Internal dimensions | Determines usable volume, tank proportions, fabrication, and heater capacity. | Internal length × width × working depth for every chamber. |
| Material and temperature | Determines controls, heat input, construction details, and operating range. | Material name, normal temperature, and maximum temperature. |
| Part or slab geometry | Determines clearance, tank shape, screen or basket size, and loading method. | Largest item dimensions, weight, and number processed at one time. |
| Production environment | Affects stand, casters, washdown construction, controls, lids, and drainage. | Voltage, phase, washdown method, floor-space limits, and desired working height. |

Enter your inside dimensions, number of chambers, circulation, spillway or reservoir, and baskets. It takes about 3 minutes, and our factory team confirms every estimate.
Both are industrial heating methods, but they solve different requirements. WaxMelters recommends the construction that fits the material, installation, temperature, controls, and applicable safety classification.
Performance depends on tank size, material, starting temperature, batch load, operating setpoint, electrical service, and process conditions. Publish quantified speed or energy claims only when supported by documented testing for the reviewed configurations.
