Short answer: A container-candle production line has seven stations: melt → fragrance/color → transfer → wick setting → fill → cool/cure → finish (trim, lid, label, pack). WaxMelters, a U.S. manufacturer in Ronkonkoma, NY, supplies the hot side of the line: PRIMO melting tanks, EZ-MIX agitators and the Mix Injection System for fragrance, EZ-T heated transfer, and fillers from a hand-guided EZ-1 to the 8-head OCTO. QUATTRO and OCTO can take a photoelectric sensor ($2,995) so they fill containers as they arrive on your conveyor. Wick setting, conveyors, cooling and labeling come from other suppliers or are done by hand.

Station by Station

Three Line Sizes

Small-batch line (one or two people). PRIMO 100-150 + EZ-1 (or Pour X-Press 1000, $6,295). Wicks set by hand on trays; cooling racks.

Automated single-head line. PRIMO 250-500 + AutoShot (or Pour X-Press 2000/3000, $11,195/$13,995) with a wicked-container staging table. Add EZ-T to refill the filler's tank from a bulk melter.

Multi-head line. Bulk PRIMO melter(s) → EZ-T transfer → QUATTRO or OCTO with FLEX adjustable valve spacing and the conveyor sensor → your conveyor and cooling. Add the Mix Injection System when you run many scents a day.

Sizing the Hot Side to the Filler

Work backward from the filler: containers per cycle x fill weight x cycles per hour gives pounds per hour, and the melter (or melters) must melt and hold more than that.
