Equipment Troubleshooting Video Center
Choose your equipment, find the symptom and watch one focused video. This library covers common operator-level checks for PRIMO melters, standard filling systems and HVISC high-viscosity filling systems.
22 videos organized by equipment and symptom. The video player loads only when you select a video, helping this page stay fast on mobile devices.
Start with Your Equipment
If you know which system is affected, choose it below. If you are not sure, use the symptom finder in the next section.
PRIMO Melters & Heated Tanks
Power, heating, temperature, leaks and controller questions.
02: Standard flowFilling & Dispensing Systems
Power, heated hose, clogs, slow flow, dripping and controller questions.
03: High viscosityHVISC Filling Systems
Pump motor, heated hose, clogs, leaks, power and uneven flow.

Clear the filter or continue to Guided Equipment Troubleshooting so WaxMelters can route the condition.
PRIMO Melter & Heated Tank Videos
For PRIMO melters, Thermal Conditioning tanks, heated holding tanks and the melting section of a complete melt-and-fill system.
PRIMO Melter: Heating, Temperature & Performance
Watch this first when you are unsure which melter symptom best describes the problem.
Open directly on YouTube →Melting Tank Will Not Turn On
Start here when the normal operator controls or display do not power on.
Open on YouTube →Blown Fuse or Tripped Breaker
Use for external checks after a first event. Repeated tripping is a stop condition; do not keep resetting it.
Open on YouTube →Heating Slowly, Unevenly or Not at All
For slow heat-up, uneven material temperature, no heat or failure to reach the set temperature.
Open on YouTube →Temperature Too High or Overheating
If temperature continues rising unexpectedly, stop operation. Use this video to identify what to document, then submit guided troubleshooting.
Open on YouTube →Melter or Tank Leak
Use after safe shutdown to identify the apparent leak location. Do not tighten hot, energized or pressurized fittings.
Open on YouTube →Reprogram a Melter Controller
Use only after confirming the controller generation and equipment configuration. Do not guess between model-year settings.
Open on YouTube →Standard Filling & Dispensing System Videos
For standard Pour X-Press, AutoShot, EZ filling, pouring and heated-transfer configurations. These videos identify common operating and module-level symptoms.
Standard Filler Troubleshooting Guide
Watch this first when you are unsure whether the symptom involves power, preheating, the heated hose, flow or the dispensing head.
Open directly on YouTube →Filler Will Not Turn On
Start here when the filler controls or temperature display do not power on normally.
Open on YouTube →Filler Blowing Fuses
Use for external checks after a first event. Stop repeated operation or fuse replacement and submit the condition for review.
Open on YouTube →Heated Hose Does Not Appear to Heat
For preheating, controller-indicator and visible external hose or connector checks. Never touch the hose to test temperature.
Open on YouTube →Filler Appears Clogged
For no-flow conditions after the material is fully process-ready and the system has completed its approved preheating procedure.
Open on YouTube →Slow, Uneven or Dripping Dispense
For reduced flow, pulsing, changing flow or a dispensing head that drips instead of closing normally.
Open on YouTube →Reprogram a Filler Temperature Controller
Do not apply settings from an unmatched model.
Open on YouTube →HVISC High-Viscosity Filling System Videos
Use this section only for the HVISC high-viscosity configuration. If you have a standard filling system, use the section above.
High-Viscosity Filling System Troubleshooting
Watch this first when you are unsure whether the HVISC symptom involves the pump motor, heated hose, flow path, power or a leak.
Open directly on YouTube →HVISC Filler Will Not Turn On
Start here when the normal HVISC operator controls or temperature display do not power on.
Open on YouTube →HVISC Pump Motor Seizing
For a pump that hums, buzzes, grinds or will not move normally after approved preheating. Stop repeated operation if abnormal sound continues.
Open on YouTube →HVISC Filler Appears Clogged
For no-flow conditions after the material is fully process-ready and the HVISC system has completed approved preheating.
Open on YouTube →HVISC Slow, Uneven or Dripping Dispense
For reduced flow, pulsing, changing output or a dispensing head that drips instead of closing normally.
Open on YouTube →HVISC Filler Leak
Do not loosen or tighten a hot, energized or pressurized connection.
Open on YouTube →Controller-specific document
TC4 Controller Setup & Programming Guide
The TC4 document and videos cover controller setup, factory reset and configuration values. Confirm the equipment type, size and approximate year before selecting the output setting.
- Confirm equipment model and approximate year.
- Confirm the controller face and controller name match.
- Periodically reviewing the programmed values is a useful way to verify that the saved settings have not changed.
- RELAY: Use for every PRIMO 3/25 (3-gallon / 25-lb) unit, every filling system and melters manufactured through 2024.
- SSR: Use only for 2025-and-newer PRIMO melters larger than the PRIMO 3/25 (3-gallon / 25-lb).
- If uncertain, submit a controller photo through guided troubleshooting.
Written TC4 Programming Instructions
Factory Reset the TC4 Controller
- Hold all three buttons until the controller displays INIT.
- Press the left arrow. The controller will display NO. Press the up arrow to select YES. This factory resets the TC4 controller.
