Which PRIMO melter size comes with a Pour X-Press?

Pour X-Press systems can be configured with different PRIMO capacities. Select the melter from your batch size, daily demand, required recovery and growth plan.

What is the difference between the Pour X-Press 1000 and the automated systems?

The Pour X-Press 1000 uses semi-automatic handheld heated dispensing. The automated configurations use controlled single-head filling for repeatable dispensing cycles.

Mixing is available on many configurations. Mixer selection depends on tank size, wax or material properties, additives and the production process.

How do I know which automated fill range I need?

Provide both the smallest and largest containers you intend to fill. The dosing configuration should cover the actual production range.

Can the system be planned for future growth?

Yes. The melter and filling method can be evaluated around both current production and reasonable future requirements so that an increase in batch size does not immediately require replacing the entire system.

What is the best complete candle making system for a growing business?

For operator-controlled filling of about 2 to 20 oz containers, start with the Pour X-Press 1000 ($6,295). Viscosity on a melt-and-fill cart

Keep Wax Flowable From Melt to Pour

Viscosity is how thick and resistant the wax is to flow at a given temperature. Heat lowers viscosity so the cart can melt, pump and fill cleanly through a heated path.

What it is

Thickness at fill temperature on the cart, not how the wax feels cold on the bench.
