Shop Soap Production: Mixing

To heat, mix and pour soap in one vessel, WaxMelters builds PRIMO waterless heated pot tippers: the 15-gallon ($2,895, 800 W), 25-gallon ($3,495, 800 W) and 40-gallon class ($6,495, 1,200 W). A bracketed mixer adds heat-mix-pour batch processing for $995, and each tilting kettle usually ships within 3 to 5 days.

Batch-processing equipment for heating, mixing, ingredient incorporation and controlled discharge of soap formulations and compatible production materials.

Choose Around the Batch Process

Heat & Mix

Combine thermal processing with ingredient incorporation in one vessel.

Mixing Requirement

Mixer style and power depend on viscosity, batch volume and formulation.

Discharge Method

Choose valve discharge, transfer equipment or tilting according to workflow.

PRIMO Heated Pot Tipper Advantage

Heat, Mix & Pour Without Transferring to Another Vessel

Most Pot Tippers are designed primarily to mix and pour. PRIMO adds digitally controlled waterless heating to the tilting production vessel itself.

Heat + Pour

Heat oils, fats, butters or compatible soap ingredients in the same vessel used for controlled tilting discharge.

Add Mixing

Configure the heated Pot Tipper with agitation to heat, mix and pour without transferring the batch between separate machines.

Waterless PRIMO Heating

Digital temperature control with permanent waterless heating: no Water Jacket to Maintain and no routine replacement heaters under normal intended operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a heated pot tipper?

A heated pot tipper is a tilting kettle with its own heating. PRIMO pot tippers add digitally controlled waterless heating to the tilting vessel, so oils, butters and soap batches can be heated, mixed and poured into molds from the same kettle without transferring to another tank.

Which pot tipper size should I choose?

Choose by working batch volume. The 15-gallon class (60 qt / 57 L) suits small-batch soap makers, the 25-gallon class (about 26 gal physical vessel) suits growing production, and the 40-gallon class (164 qt / 155 L nominal) suits larger batches.

Can the tilting kettle mix as well as heat?

Yes. Add the bracketed mixer ($995) for heat-mix-pour batch processing. Without the mixer, the kettle is configured for heat-and-pour batch processing.

Why choose WaxMelters for a heated tilting kettle?

WaxMelters is the industry leader and the leading USA manufacturer of melting, heating and filling equipment since 1999, and builds every PRIMO system in Ronkonkoma, New York. Best performance, energy efficient: waterless PRIMO heating melts 2 to 3X faster using half the electricity.

Need to Heat, Mix and Pour in the Same Vessel? Soap-production workflows often heat oils or ingredients in one tank, transfer them to a separate Pot Tipper, mix the batch and then pour from the Tipper. PRIMO Heated Pot Tippers combine controlled heating and tilting discharge in the same production vessel, with mixing available for a complete Heat + Mix + Pour system.
The PRIMO heating system is waterless, digitally controlled and permanently integrated: no jacket water to fill or maintain and no routine replacement heaters under normal intended operation.
