Filling-System Factory Repair
WaxMelters filling systems use heated pumping, dispensing and control
components that must be properly identified before repair or replacement.
The objective of guided troubleshooting is to isolate the affected module
so that only the necessary component is returned whenever possible.
Required Before Warranty or Factory Repair
The applicable Guided Troubleshooting & Warranty Service process
must be completed before M&FE will authorize warranty service,
replacement components or factory return of a filling-system component.
No completed process = no warranty authorization.
Do not open, alter, internally repair or disassemble a filling-system
component unless specifically instructed by M&FE in writing.
Damage caused by improper or unauthorized disassembly, repair, continued
operation following a known malfunction, or failure to follow prescribed
troubleshooting or safety instructions is not covered.
Start Required Troubleshooting
Return the Smallest Repairable Module
Dispensing Head
Return the dispensing head when troubleshooting has isolated the
reported condition to the dispensing or nozzle assembly.
Heated Hose
Return the heated hose when troubleshooting has isolated the
condition to hose heating, wiring, connectors or the hose assembly.
Thermopump
Return the control-box and pump assembly when troubleshooting
indicates a pump, control-power or Thermopump condition.
Do not send the complete filling system unless instructed.
Returning only the affected removable module can reduce freight, handling
and downtime.
Before Shipping a Filling-System Component
- Complete the required troubleshooting process;
- Provide the model, serial number or original order number;
- Provide all requested diagnostic information, photographs or video;
- Receive authorization from M&FE to return the specified module;
- Remove all wax, oil or process material;
- Package the component to prevent transportation damage; and
- Follow the Evaluation Authorization and shipping instructions provided.
Warranty Determination
Submission of equipment for evaluation does not by itself establish that a
repair is covered by warranty. M&FE determines warranty eligibility
after review of the applicable warranty, troubleshooting information,
equipment condition and evaluation findings.
If the condition is not covered, applicable evaluation, cleaning, parts,
labor and transportation charges are the responsibility of the customer.
